See all updates- Business card scanner: snap paper cards and get them onto your phone No more typing up paper business cards field by field: take a photo of the card with your phone or choose a picture – the free business card scanner picks out the name, company, numbers, email, website and address, and also reads QR codes with contact details. You check the details and save the contact as a vCard file or send it to your phone via QR code. Recognition runs in your browser – no app, no sign-up, and the photo never leaves your device.
- Welcome & transitions: your card makes an entrance When your card opens, your logo can now pop up, confetti can fly or a short welcome video can play – hosted directly by us and always skippable. On top of that come smooth transitions between your card and its sub-pages. You switch everything on per card; until you do, your card stays exactly as it is.
- A blog for your card: write, schedule and publish posts Your card can now have its own blog. What is a digital business card?
A personal web page at vizitcard.de/your-name with your contact details, links and features like appointment booking. Share it via link, QR code or NFC — visitors save your contact to their address book with one tap as a vCard.
Is Vizitcard free?
Yes — the Free plan is free forever and already includes PIN protection. Every new account does start with 30 days of Pro though, without payment details: after that you pick your plan, and without a choice you automatically switch to Free at no cost. Basic and Pro unlock additional features (images, custom URL, multilingual card, leads, appointment booking and much more). See all plans
Can I use Vizitcard for personal contacts, too?
Absolutely — the free plan covers it: create your card, show your QR code, and the other person saves your details with one tap. Great for meeting new people, clubs and neighbours. Vizitcard for individuals
Do visitors need an app?
No. Your card is a normal web page: scan the QR code with the camera or tap the NFC tag with a phone — done. Works on every smartphone.
How do the NFC tags work?
Order tags, dots or cards in the NFC section of your dashboard and link them to a Vizitcard. Tapping with a smartphone opens the card — including PIN protection and lost-mode (Pro).
Can I use the card for my pet?
Yes! With the pet profile (Pro), your card becomes a smart collar tag: finders see food, allergies, medication, vet and your number. More about the pet profile
What happens to my data?
Vizitcard runs GDPR-compliant on servers in Germany — without third-party cookies and without external trackers. Statistics are anonymized (IP addresses are never stored). Data export and account deletion are available as self-service.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled monthly, yearly subscriptions at the end of the term. No data is deleted on downgrade — features are only deactivated and instantly restored after an upgrade.
How do I pay?
Conveniently online via Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay — or by bank transfer. Booked features are unlocked automatically after payment.
